Spinach garlic stir fry recipeIt's always nice to include some greens in your meal. This lovely spinach and garlic stir-fry dish is a lite tasty meal and something new to try.

Ingredients :

  • 6 tbsp of vegetable or olive oil.
  • 6 Cloves of crushed garlic.
  • 2 tbsp of black bean sauce.
  • 3 Medium chopped tomatoes.
  • 2 lb or 900g of fresh spinach.
  • 1 tsp of chili sauce.
  • 2 tbsp of freshly squeezed lemon juice.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

 

Directions :

    1. In preheated wok, heat the 6 tbsp of oil over high heat.

    2. Then add the crushed garlic, black bean sauce and chopped tomatoes. Stir-fry for about a minute or two.

    3. Now stir in the spinach (stalks removed).

    4. Add the chili sauce and lemon juice, keep stirring until the spinach starts to wilt.

    5. Add salt and peper to taste and remove from the heat.

    6. Serve immediately.
